Supplier Quality Technician / OperatorOur client is seeking a Supplier Quality Technician / Operator to join their Stafford-based manufacturing team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a hands-on, site-based role supporting shop-floor quality activities, supplier issue follow-up, defect documentation, and rework support.Location and hoursSite: Stafford, ST17 4LN.Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00-16:00.Contract: Fixed-term, 12 months.Working style: On-site only.Key responsibilitiesFollow up supplier-related quality issues on the shop floor.Identify and document defects and non-conformances.Capture photos and videos for quality records and reporting.Support and monitor supplier rework activities on site.Work closely with Quality and Manufacturing teams to close out issues.Support basic root-cause analysis and problem-solving.Maintain quality and safety standards within the factory environment.What we''re looking forPrevious experience in a manufacturing or shop-floor quality role.Experience in HVDC, power transformers, or heavy electrical equipment is desirable.Strong attention to detail and a hands-on approach.Comfortable working directly on the shop floor.Basic computer skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Clear communicator who can work independently and with multiple stakeholdersTo apply, please send your CVs in the first instance ..... full job details .....
