Supplier Quality Engineer

Our client, a prominent company in the aerospace sector, is currently seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to join their permanent team. This exciting role involves leading and overseeing supplier quality assurance activities across the supply chain, ensuring compliance with aviation regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal quality systems.Key Responsibilities:Manage supplier quality performance and ensure compliance with AS9100 / AS9120 standards.Conduct supplier audits, process evaluations, and risk assessments to ensure adherence to quality requirements.Lead investigations into non-conformances, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) where required.Work closely with internal teams to resolve supplier-related quality issues and prevent recurrence.Support supplier approvals, including qualification, monitoring, and performance improvement initiatives.Develop and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers, acting as the main point of contact for quality matters.Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain, identifying opportunities for process enhancement and cost efficiencies.Maintain accurate documentation and reporting to support internal and external audits, as well as customer requirements.Job Requirements:Proven experience in supplier quality, manufacturing quality, or aerospace quality.Knowledge of AS9100, AS9120, or other relevant quality standards (essential).Experience with supplier audits, corrective ..... full job details .....
