West London | Full-time, Permanent | Travel to client sites requiredWe are seeking an experience Supplier Quality Engineer to join a global manufacturing organisation. In this role, you will be required to travel to supplier sites to support the continuous improvement of the quality of materials used in the manufacture of our products. You will undertake QMS audits to maintain ISO standards, identify and action non-conformance and corrective actions and act as a key communicator between the supplier and our in-house project engineering, project manufacturing and procurement teams.Role Responsibilities

Non-Conformance Process Support and ManagementLiaison between Engineering, Manufacturing and Procurement for material issuesSupplier Audits and Action VerificationSupplier Continuous ImprovementAssist in First Article/First Piece Inspection and Physical Configuration Audits at either UM or the SupplierCoach Suppliers on PFMEA and Control Plan activityCoordinate all efforts for Non-conforming material, getting inputs from design, manufacturing and supply chain managementReview data obtained through the incoming receiving department, and address issues or make adjustments within the inspection system accordingly for their commodity areaSupport the ISO 9001:2015 approved Supplier Quality system and support audits as requiredProvide support for any customer visits and/or DCMA visits related to partsInvestigate and address customer complaints regarding part qualityEvaluate new suppliers and ensure that due diligence is given to identifying and managing the associated risksAssist the Supplier Quality Director with the approval process when suppliers are added, their scope of approvals are updated, or there are changes in the location of manufacture, process, critical equipment, ownership, etc. With Supply Chain Management actively approved and disapprove suppliers as requiredPerforms all other duties as required, requested or neededPerson Specification

Demonstrable experience in non-conformance and corrective actionKnowledge of ISO9001 – Lead Auditor preferredSkilled in root cause analysis (RCA) and root cause corrective action (RCCA) implementationInvolvement in major process roll-outs, preferredProficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), ERP systems, Minitab and other Quality assurance toolsDue to the nature of work the organisation carry out, applicant must be able to acquire the required security clearance for the role. Therefore only dual or sole British nationals may applyA full driver’s license and vehicle is required for this role.
