Description

  • Manage supplier performance to ensure adherence to agreed terms and service levels.
  • Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to drive mutual value and innovation.
  • Monitor and report on supplier performance against KPIs and service agreements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement and supply chain requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within supplier arrangements.
  • Ensure compliance with public sector procurement regulations and policies.
  • Lead supplier negotiations to secure favourable terms and agreements.
  • Support the development and implementation of category strategies.

Profile

A successful Supplier Manager should have:

  • Experience in supplier management and procurement within the public sector.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain and procurement processes.
  • Proven ability to manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts effectively.
  • Knowledge of relevant procurement regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical skills to assess supplier performance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • A relevant qualification in procurement or supply chain management is desirable.
