This employer is recognised globally for quality and innovative deliverables.The successful Supplier Development Lead will be easily able to commute to HUDDERSFIELD from surrounding towns and cities, including Leeds, Dewsbury, Halifax, Wakefield and Brighouse.Key Responsibilities of the Supplier Development Lead will include:Lead the end-to-end supplier onboarding and approval process, ensuring suppliers meet defined quality, capability, financial, security and compliance requirements before inclusion on the Approved Vendor List (AVL).Conduct supplier capability, capacity and due-diligence assessments, including audits and documentation reviews, providing evidence-based recommendations on supplier readiness and suitability.Drive supplier development and continuous improvement initiatives, managing performance improvement plans to enhance quality, operational controls, capacity planning and delivery performance.Support programmes, bids and manufacturing outsourcing activities through early supplier engagement, readiness assessments and risk mitigation to ensure successful project delivery.Identify, assess and manage supplier risks relating to capacity, ..... full job details .....
