Supplier Compliance Coordinator Role Overview
The Supplier Compliance Coordinator plays a key role in supplier communication and data management, ensuring suppliers meet all due diligence and food safety requirements. You will support the wider Technical team, working closely with growers, suppliers, and internal colleagues to ensure compliance across the supply chain.
Accuracy and attention to detail are vital, from managing supplier data on internal and customer platforms to monitoring compliance KPIs, audits, and approvals. This role is central to maintaining the integrity of the supplier base and supporting the smooth flow of compliant, safe, and high-quality products to customers.
Supplier Compliance Coordinator Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update supplier due diligence records, approvals, and compliance databases
- Support the preparation and follow-up of supplier and customer audits
- Manage supplier approval status, investigating and helping resolve non-compliances
- Conduct traceability exercises and support recall investigations when required
- Monitor compliance KPIs and contribute to supplier performance reviews
- Communicate regularly with suppliers and internal teams to ensure compliance requirements are met
Supplier Compliance Coordinator Key Requirements
- A degree in Food Science, Agriculture, Agronomy, or a related field would be an advantage
- Strong understanding of food safety and quality systems
- Fresh Produce or Fresh Food sector experience is beneficial
- Highly organised, methodical, and comfortable managing data and documentation
- A collaborative, approachable style with excellent communication skills
- Confident user of MS Office, particularly Excel (experience with customer portals is a bonus)
