Supervisor

My client are a national civil engineering contractor who are currently seeking a Supervisor to help deliver works on Northumbrian Water schemes in Middlesbrough. The successful candidate must have previous water industry experience and a strong civil engineering background.

Supervisor Responsibilities:

• Supervising site operatives and subcontractors.
• Managing day-to-day site activities.
• Overseeing civil engineering works on water and wastewater schemes.
• Coordinating labour, plant and materials.
• Delivering toolbox talks and ensuring health and safety compliance.
• Liaising with the Site Manager and project team.
• Ensuring works are completed safely and to programme.
• Monitoring quality and maintaining site records.

Supervisor Requirements:

• Gold CSCS or relevant supervisory CSCS card.
• SSSTS or SMSTS.
• Previous experience working on water or wastewater schemes.
• Experience working on Northumbrian Water projects is desirable.
• Strong civil engineering background.
• Good understanding of RAMS and health and safety procedures.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
