Supervisor

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Supervisor to join a civil engineering main contractor on a project in Manchester, with an immediate start available. This is a great opportunity to work with a leading contractor delivering major infrastructure works.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Supervising day-to-day site activities across civil engineering works
• Managing subcontractors, labour, and plant on site
• Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to specification
• Supporting the Site Manager and Site Agent with coordination of works
• Delivering toolbox talks, site briefings, and inductions
• Monitoring site progress and reporting updates to senior management
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
• Maintaining accurate site records and documentation

Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a Supervisor on civil engineering projects
• Strong understanding of construction processes and site coordination
• Experience working with main contractors preferred
• SSSTS or SMSTS qualification
• Valid CSCS card
• First Aid at Work (preferred)
• Strong communication and organisational skills
