Supervisor

Yard Supervisor Required 

We are looking for a reliable and organised Yard Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of a busy yard and manage a small team of workers. 

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong leadership skills who can ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with daily schedules. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Supervising and supporting a small team of yard operatives 

• Planning and coordinating daily workloads against schedules 

• Ensuring materials, equipment, and stock are organised and accounted for 

• Monitoring productivity and maintaining high standards of work 

• Conducting daily briefings and allocating tasks 

• Ensuring all health & safety procedures are followed 

• Liaising with management regarding progress, resources, and any issues 

Requirements: 

• Previous supervisory or team leader experience 

• SSSTS/gold card

• Strong organisational and time management skills 

• Ability to work to schedules and deadlines 

• Good communication skills 

• Forklift licence beneficial but not essential 

• Knowledge of health & safety requirements within a yard or industrial environment 

• Own transport
