      <description>Location: Norwich | Salary: &amp;pound;27 - &amp;pound;28/hour | Type: Contract | M O''BRIEN CIVIL ENGINEERING LTD, working in conjunction with Matchtech, is looking for an experienced Supervisor to join a tier 1 contractor''s team in Norwich. This role is in the highways sector with a focus on water blue-collar work and offers a long term contract for the right individual.   Key Responsibilities:    Overseeing the earthworks on site  Monitoring and managing the groundworks gangs  Ensuring safety and compliance with all relevant regulations  Coordinating with different teams to ensure project milestones are met  Reporting on project progress to senior management    Job Requirements:    Experience in a supervisory role within the highways or construction sector  CSCS (Gold) certification  SSSTS certification  Strong understanding of earthworks and groundworks operations  Excellent leadership and team management skills  Ability to work long hours, 07:00am-7pm, Monday to Friday    If you meet the above criteria and are looking for a challenging role with a leading construction company, we would love to hear from you.
