Role: Supervisor (Repairs and maintenance)Salary: 45,000Location: Welwyn and Hatfied Job opportunity We are working with a leading Repairs and Maintenance contractor, to recruit an experienced supervisor to join their team covering the Welwyn and Hatfield area.This is a hands-on supervisory position, overseeing day-to-day repairs and maintenance works across residential properties. You will be responsible for supervising operatives, monitoring workloads and ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.The ideal candidate will have previous experience within social housing, property maintenance or a similar repairs environment, with a good understanding of day-to-day responsive repairs and planned maintenance.Key responsibilities Supervise a team of maintenance operatives working across residential properties.Allocate and monitor daily workloads, ensuring jobs are completed within agreed timescales.Carry out regular site visits and inspect completed works to ensure they meet the required standards.Monitor operative performance, productivity and quality of work.Deal with any issues or queries raised by operatives, residents or clients.Ensure repairs are completed safely and in line with relevant health and safety requirements.Assist with investigating and resolving any complaints or problems on site.Liaise with the office and management team regarding workloads, progress and outstanding works.Ensure materials, tools and equipment are being used ..... full job details .....
