Job Title: Freelance Supervisor - Earthworks Location: Tuddenham, Norfolk Start Date: ASAP (Target start: 29/06/2026) Contract Duration: 8 months Rate: 26 per hour Weekly Hours: 50-70 hours per week Weekend Work: Saturdays available (not essential) Interviews: Taking place ASAPRole OverviewWe are currently seeking an experienced Freelance Supervisor with strong earthworks experience to join a long-term infrastructure project based in Tuddenham, Norfolk. This is an 8 month freelance contract offering consistent hours and the opportunity for increased shifts from March onwards. This role is freelance only and not available on a permanent or PAYE basis. The successful candidate will oversee earthworks operations on site, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with programme requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervising earthworks activities including bulk excavation, cut and fill, and ground preparationManaging site operatives and subcontractorsEnsuring compliance with health and safety legislation and site proceduresOverseeing safe digging practices and service avoidanceMonitoring productivity and maintaining programme targetsConducting site briefings and toolbox talksCoordinating plant, labour and materials effectivelyEssential RequirementsProven experience supervising earthworks operations (essential)SMSTS or SSSTS (essential)EUSR certification (essential)CAT and Genny trained (essential)CSCS Gold Card (essential)Strong understanding of safe systems of ..... full job details .....
