The Supervisor role

I''m working with a leading highways contractor who have several projects growing and in that they are looking to add a Supervisor to their team.

The works you''ll be involved in could vary from highways improvements to public realm works. You''ll have experience as a Supervisor and be able to manage your own workload and control several gangs of operatives.

Your background and experience could vary, but being from a Supervisor role or experience leading teams would be massively advantageous.

Competencies required would be CSCS, SSSTS and if you''ve got a NRSWA that''s great but not essential.

Roles and responsibilities of the Supervisor

• Ability to effectively plan and manage the works for 2 gangs or more, including self.
• Prepare and deliver daily activity briefings, work instructions, permits which are of an excellent standard, are clear, concise, accurate.
• Keeps a daily site diary to record site progress, deliveries, plant etc.
• Manage the safe system of work and implement control measures to manage safety onsite.
• Deliver an excellent level of performance with tasks, understanding design drawings and constructing to a high standard.
