Supervisor

C&P Recruitment are delighted to be working with a leading specialist contractor to recruit two Supervisors to join their growing Edinburgh team.

The Role

You''ll be responsible for the day-to-day supervising of projects across Edinburgh leading site teams of around 10-15 operatives while ensuring work is delivered safely, on programme and to the highest standards.

Projects include:

• Sprinkler installations
• Water mist systems
• Emergency lighting

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing site teams and subcontractors
• Planning and coordinating daily site activities
• Carrying out site inductions
• Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety legislation and industry standards
• Managing quality inspections and snagging
• Working closely with Project Managers to achieve programme deadlines and successful project handovers
• Maintaining strong communication with clients and other trades on site

About You

We''re looking for someone who has:

• Previous experience as a supervisor
• Ideally Mechanical or Electrical background, but open to experienced supervisors to train up
• Experience running construction or M&E projects
• Strong Health & Safety knowledge
• The ability to lead teams
• Excellent communication and organisational skills

A mechanical or electrical background is preferred, however experienced supervisors will also be considered. Our client has also successfully recruited experienced construction site supervisors from other sectors and provided industry-specific training, so candidates with strong supervisory experience are encouraged to apply.
