Key Responsibilities of the Supervising Social Worker: Supervise and Support Foster Carers: Provide regular supervision, guidance, and support to foster carers, ensuring they have the necessary resources and training to provide quality care to children. Reviews: As a Supervising Social Worker you will regularly review and monitor the progress and wellbeing of children in placement. Compliance and Safeguarding: Ensure all fostering activities comply with relevant legislation, regulations, and agency policies. Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and child protection. Multi-Agency Collaboration: Work collaboratively with local authorities, schools, health professionals, and other agencies to ensure a coordinated approach to the care and support of children.
