Supervising Social Worker Independent Fostering Agency DerbyLocum Supervising Social Worker required to join a not-for-profit Independent Fostering AgencyHybrid working - 1 day in office per weekOffice base: DerbyYou must have a social work qualification and full SWE registration Experience of working directly with mainstream foster parents neededMust have Fostering experience from an Independent Fostering Agency, Local Authority or other similar settingSupervising and supporting foster families, in looking after children and young people within their homes and contributing to the recruitment and assessment of new foster familiesMonthly visits to foster placements as well as supervision visits and unannounced visitsMonthly child progress reportsPay rate 35- 38phInitial 3 month contract which could lead to permanentTo be considered, it is essential that you have a recognised Social Work qualification (Social Work Degree or Diploma in Social Work) and full Social Work England registration as well as recent or significant relevant experience in a similar role.
