SUMS Pack Deployment Test Engineer

Expleo is seeking a highly skilled SUMS Pack Deployment and Compatibility Operational Test Engineer to join our team in Gaydon, Warwickshire, on an Inside IR35 contract basis. This is a workshop-based role focused on updating current production and engineering vehicles to the latest software packs, ensuring readiness for SOTA and integration testing. Key Responsibilities:Diagnose and repair mechanical systems (engine, chassis, etc.)Perform software updates and validation testingConduct service, diagnostics, and repair operations on current vehiclesProvide technical feedback to support subsystem developmentPrepare, fit, and remove test componentsAssemble and replace systems/componentsManufacture and modify electrical harnessesTrace, rectify, and validate faults using diagnostic toolsInterpret technical drawings and collaborate with engineering teamsEngineer bespoke solutions to overcome technical challenges What We''re Looking For:Advanced knowledge of operational procedures and toolsExperience in diagnostics and repair of automotive systemsProficiency with computer diagnostic equipmentAbility to work independently in non-routine situationsStrong communication and documentation skillsExperience leading daily operations and mentoring junior staff is a ..... full job details .....
