Summer Playscheme WorkerLocation: BelfastRate of Pay: 13.45 per hourCore duration: 29th June to 21st of August (depending on location)Hours: 25 hours per weekContract: Temporary / Summer PositionCommunity Centres including but not limited to: Glen Road, Finaghy, Suffolk, Ligoniel, Concorde, Woodvale, White City, Duncairn, Divis, Horn Drive.Main Purpose of the RoleTo support the designated Assistant Community Development Officer or Playworker in the organisation and delivery of a Summer Playscheme, including the day-to-day programming and development of activities. This will involve activities within the centre as well as trips and activities away from the centre.Key ResponsibilitiesOrganise, supervise, and lead structured play activities both on-site and off-site, as directedPrepare and set up materials and resources for daily activitiesSupport volunteers and staff to help broaden and develop the playscheme programmeConsistently apply best practice in line with the Playwork Code of PracticeAdhere to Child Protection policies and procedures at all timesImplement all required Health and Safety proceduresParticipate in monitoring, evaluation, and feedback processesAssist with administrative and financial tasks related to the playscheme when requiredUndertake additional duties appropriate to the roleEssential ExperienceApplicants must be able to demonstrate at least one year''s relevant experience in each of the following areas:Direct supervision of children as a primary or ..... full job details .....
