Senior Social Worker - CP/CIN TeamSuffolk County Council Beacon House, Ipswich£40.50 per hour Umbrella Hybrid 3 days office-basedSuffolk County Council is looking for an experienced Senior Social Worker to join their CP/CIN Team based at Beacon House in Ipswich.This is a high-demand service, offering an excellent opportunity for a confident Senior Social Worker to manage a varied caseload and work with children and families requiring statutory intervention and support.Key ResponsibilitiesUndertake comprehensive assessments of children and families.Manage a caseload of children and young people with complex needs.Hold Child in Need (CIN) and Child Protection (CP) cases.Develop, implement and review effective care plans.Work collaboratively with children, families, professionals and partner agencies.Ensure children''s needs, welfare and safeguarding remain central to all decision-making.Attend and contribute to relevant meetings, reviews and multi-agency discussions.Maintain accurate and timely case records in line with statutory requirements.Work in accordance with relevant legislation, safeguarding procedures and local authority policies.RequirementsSocial Work England (SWE) registration.Recognised Social Work qualification.Minimum 3 years'' post-qualification experience working in Social Work roles within a UK English Local Authority.Strong experience managing CIN and CP cases.Previous experience working within a children''s social care environment.Excellent assessment, ..... full job details .....
