Job Title: Occupational Therapist - Learning Disabilities and Autism / Mental Health Location: Suffolk (West, Ipswich and North Localities)West: West Suffolk House, Bury St EdmundsIpswich: Endeavour House, IpswichNorth: Riverside, LowestoftRate: 35 per hour (Umbrella) Contract: 6 months Working Pattern: Hybrid - 2-3 days in the office, 2 days working from home We are looking to recruit an experienced Occupational Therapist to support services across Learning Disabilities, Autism, and Mental Health within Adult Social Care in Suffolk.This is a locality-wide role focused on proactively undertaking reviews and assessments across the directorate, helping to reduce waiting lists and improve service delivery.Key Responsibilities:Deliver safe and timely front-line Occupational Therapy servicesUndertake assessments and reviews across the directorateSupport triage processes and reduce duplication between health and social careAssist in reducing OT waiting listsSupport external care providers with safe moving and handling practicesReview care packages to ensure best value and effective use of equipmentReview:Double-handed care packagesWaking night supportExisting packages of careProvide mutual aid across other OT service areas as requiredRequirements:Qualified Occupational TherapistExperience within Adult Social CareBackground in Learning Disabilities, Autism, or Mental HealthStrong manual handling experience (essential)Ability to work independently across multiple localitiesBenefits ..... full job details .....
