Position Summary / Job Goals: The Substitute Teacher provides instructional and classroom support in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. The Substitute Teacher is responsible for maintaining a safe, positive, and productive learning environment while implementing lesson plans, supervising students, and supporting the mission and values of The Village School. Substitute Teachers may be assigned to Lower School, Middle School, or High School classrooms and must demonstrate flexibility in supporting various grade levels, subject areas, and campus needs.
