Substance Misuse Treatment WorkerHackney (Hybrid / Community Based) 33.64 per hour (Umbrella)Locum ContractI''m currently working with a Local Authority in Hackney who are looking for an experienced Substance Misuse Treatment Worker to join their Children and Young People''s Service.This is a rewarding locum opportunity supporting young people aged 8-25 with substance misuse needs, delivering targeted interventions and making a real impact across the borough.The RoleAs a Substance Misuse Treatment Worker, you will:Manage a caseload of young people requiring specialist substance misuse supportDeliver targeted one-to-one interventions (Tier 2 and 3) tailored to individual needsCarry out assessments, care planning and treatment pathways including referrals where requiredWork flexibly across community settings, drop-ins and outreach servicesSupport young people with wider issues including education, housing, relationships and wellbeingUse harm reduction strategies and keep up to date with current drug trends and treatment approachesWork collaboratively with multi-agency partners, including Youth Offending Teams and other council servicesRequirementsTo be considered, you will have:Experience working with young people and substance misuse casesA background in youth work, social work, health, or a related fieldExperience managing a caseload and delivering 1:1 interventionsStrong engagement and communication skills with vulnerable young peopleKnowledge of safeguarding, risk ..... full job details .....
