Substance Misuse Nurse

Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (4 days between Monday to Friday, 30 hours per week)Dates: ASAP 3 months (Temporary Contract, will be reviewed after 3 months)Pay Rate: 32/hr PAYE or 38 umbrella (strictly no limited companies)Your new roleUndertake physical and mental health assessments and sign post/refer to primary care or appropriate secondary health care services for identified health issues.To undertake Nurse Alcohol Assessments and determine safe detoxification.Assist in the titration process for opiate service users.To provide screening for BBV, through dry blood spot testing.Provide Hepatitis B vaccinations, undertake phlebotomy (only if trained)Contribute to Naloxone StrategyOffer wound care assessment and basic wound dressing to service users.Utilise psychosocial intervention, including Integrated Test and Evaluation Plans, in both one-to-one and group settings.Essential Qualifications and ExperienceCurrent NMC registrationPrevious solid experience working as a substance misuse nurse, including alcohol assessments, blood tests, and administering vaccinations.Strong communication and teamwork skills Please note we do not offer sponsorships What you''ll get in returnWeekly paymentsHelp with revalidationFree CPD coursesHoliday payFree DBS checkWhat you need to do nowIf you''re interested in this role, click ''apply now'' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV.
