About the Role
This permanent Subsea Production Tree Engineer position in Leeds offers a salary of £48,000 to £65,000. The successful candidate will join a subsea engineering team delivering flow control equipment for offshore drilling rig systems. Responsibilities include designing and developing valves, chokes and pipework installed on the seafloor, controlling and monitoring oil or gas flow from underwater wells. Applicants need experience with subsea trees, wellheads and drill or production systems, plus fluency in SAP, PLM, MathCad and AutoCAD or Inventor 3D CAD. A Bachelor's or MEng degree in Mechanical or Subsea Engineering is essential. The role involves driving project execution and liaising with internal and external customers to provide end-to-end solutions from reservoir to surface.
Subsea Tree Engineer required to work on the delivery of flow control equipment for offshore drilling rig systems as part of a subsea Engineering team
The ideal candidate will have flow control expertise and understand process technologies, you will drive projects execution, liaising and interfacing with both internal and external customers to provide end to end solutions from reservoir to surface. Including the assembly of valves, chokes, and pipes installed on the seafloor to control and monitor the flow of oil or gas from underwater wells.
Requirements
Experience dealing with Subsea Trees, Wellheads, and Drill and Production Systems.
SAP, PLM, MathCad, AutoCad or Inventor 3D CAD package fluency.
A Bachelor or MEng degree in Mechanical or Subsea Engineering.
Responsibilities
Design and Documentation of high level engineering designs, schematics, assembly drawings, specifications and testing procedures for underwater subsea trees.
Managing project deliverables
Perform mechanical and hydraulic calculations for extreme deep sea pressure and temperature fluid operating parameters.
