Subcontracts Manufacturing Manager

Our client, a leading organisation in the defence and security manufacturing sector, is seeking a Subcontracts Manufacturing Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to ensure the seamless delivery of customer product orders through effective planning and supply chain management.Key Responsibilities:Ensure all customer product orders are delivered on-time and in-full (OTIF)Plan product build demands in collaboration with production planners and project managersRaise external requirements to build on subcontractors and suppliers, liaising with them to achieve OTIF deliveryLiaise with sales and programme management to ensure production plans are understood and communicated to the rest of the businessWork closely with the supply chain to ensure supplier delivery plans are in placeNegotiate with suppliers and manage their expectationsJob Requirements:Experience in supply chain customer service and controlStrong planning skills within a manufacturing environmentExcellent communication and liaison abilities across different departmentsProficiency in subcontractor and supplier managementUnderstanding of the defence and security manufacturing sectorAbility to manage negotiations and effectively achieve desired outcomesProblem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work collaboratively and independently as requiredBenefits:Permanent and stable position within a leading industry organisationOpportunity to work on varied and interesting ..... full job details .....
