Sub Contract Door Entry Engineer

We are currently looking for an experienced Sub Contract Door Entry Engineer to work across a number of NHS healthcare centres in Liverpool on an ongoing contract basis.

This is a great opportunity for a reliable engineer with strong fault-finding skills who is comfortable working independently across live environments.

The Role:

You will be responsible for carrying out both reactive call outs and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on a range of door entry and access control systems across healthcare facilities.

Duties Include:

• Reactive maintenance and emergency call outs
• PPM servicing of door entry / intercom systems
• Fault finding and repairs
• Minor remedial works and replacements
• Ensuring systems remain compliant and operational
• Accurate completion of service reports and job sheets
• Working professionally within occupied NHS environments

Systems May Include:

• Audio & video intercom systems
• Door entry panels
• Magnetic locks / electric strikes
• Access control systems
• Automatic door interfaces

Requirements:

• Proven experience working on door entry / access control systems
• Strong fault-finding ability
• ECS / CSCS preferred
• Own van, tools and testing equipment
• Ability to work independently
• Good communication and professional manner
• Enhanced DBS beneficial (or willing to obtain)
