Sub Agent - Highways Package - NorwichA leading civil engineering firm, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sub Agent to join our team on highway project in the Norwich area. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a project that will improve the region''s infrastructure and transportation network.What You''ll Do:Play a key role in the successful execution of the highways package, ensuring adherence to project specifications, deadlines, and safety standards.Lead and manage the day-to-day activities of the earthworks team, including coordinating with subcontractors and ensuring smooth workflow.Oversee excavation, fill, and compaction operations, ensuring proper techniques, soil management, and compliance with environmental regulations.Maintain meticulous records of work progress and any issues that arise, including daily site diaries.Champion safety on the project, actively promoting a culture of awareness and enforcing the highest safety standards.Contribute to the successful completion of the project, meeting deadlines and achieving the highest quality standards.What We Need:Proven experience as a Sub Agent on highway or road construction projects, with a particular focus on earthworks.Strong technical knowledge of earthworks techniques, soil mechanics, and construction materials.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for managing a team and collaborating with stakeholders.A proactive approach to problem-solving, with a commitment to achieving ..... full job details .....
