Sub Agent

We are currently looking for a Highways Sub Agent to work on a major project in the Penrith area. The role is long term and is Inside IR35Site Delivery and Operations: Lead day-to-day operations for allocated highways sections (earthworks, pavement, drainage, structures, or statutory undertaker diversions).Health, Safety, and Environment: Enforce strict health, safety, and environmental standards across site operations, including leading Risk Assessment and Method Statement (RAMS) reviews and toolbox talks.Engineering and Quality Assurance: Manage setting out, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), permits to work, quality control documentation, and temporary works management.Commercial and Subcontractor Management: Monitor project costs, track daily plant and labor records, assist with compensation event/variation identification under NEC4 contracts, and manage subcontractor progress.Team Leadership: Mentor, manage, and assign responsibilities to Section Engineers, Site Engineers, and site operatives.Qualifications needed: CSCS Black or Gold CardHND, HNC or Degree in Civil Engineering SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)First Aid at WorkTemporary Works Supervisor/Coordinator (desirable) Randstad CPE values diversity and promotes equality.
