Sub Agent

Overview: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sub Agent to join a leading Tier One civil engineering contractor delivering a major city centre infrastructure and regeneration project in Sheffield. The Sub Agent will take responsibility for managing sections of highways, public realm and drainage works, ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality delivery while coordinating site teams, subcontractors and engineering activities within a live urban environment. Key Responsibilities: Take ownership of a section of works, ensuring delivery in line with programme, budget and quality requirements. Plan, coordinate and supervise site teams, subcontractors, plant and resources to achieve key project milestones. Promote and maintain the highest standards of health, safety, environmental and quality compliance across site. Ensure Risk Assessments, Method Statements (RAMS), Permit to Work systems, site inductions and safety briefings are implemented effectively. Oversee highways, public realm, drainage and associated civil engineering works, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications and project requirements. Produce and maintain site diaries, progress reports, quality records and project documentation. Monitor programme performance and provide regular progress updates to the Project Manager. Ensure Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), quality assurance documentation and handover records are completed and maintained.
