Sub Agent - Lower Thames Crossing (Pre-Construction)
Location: Lower Thames Crossing
Rate: -500530 per day (Inside IR35 - PAYE Umbrella)
Contract: 3 months
Start: ASAP
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Sub Agent to support pre-construction activities on the prestigious Lower Thames Crossing project. This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in a major UK infrastructure scheme at an early stage.

Key Responsibilities

• Support planning, coordination, and delivery of pre-construction and early works packages
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, and wellbeing in line with project procedures
• Produce and review Works Package Plans, ITPs, and subcontractor documentation
• Assist in programme management, progress tracking, and short-term planning activities
• Liaise with subcontractors, designers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
• Support quality assurance, environmental compliance, and carbon reduction initiatives
• Contribute to procurement processes, including scopes, requisitions, and supplier coordination
• Assist with cost control, reporting, and resource management
• Support design coordination, RFIs, and change management
• Provide leadership and mentoring to engineers and junior staff

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Sub Agent on major civil engineering or infrastructure projects
• Strong understanding of NEC3/NEC4 contracts
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• CSCS Card
• SMSTS
• Fit for Work Medical
• Pre-start Drugs & Alcohol Test
• BPSS Clearance (Basic DBS Check)
