Sub Agent

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Sub Agent for an upcoming contract running from October 5, 2026, to December 18, 2026.In this role, you will lead and control a section of the works, managing a team of Section Engineers and Site Engineers within the same discipline. You will drive operational excellence while championing health, safety, and environmental standards. Key ResponsibilitiesHealth, Safety and Environment: Lead incident investigations, review method statements and risk assessments, carry out audits, and manage permits including Confined Space and Hot Works. Engineering Control and Quality: Guide and coach team members in technical requirements, setting out, and the resolution of construction issues. Take ownership of handover documentation and quality compliance processes. Productivity and Commercial: Produce fully resourced stage programmes, track KPIs, monitor weekly costs against the budget, and assist with subcontractor procurement and management. Requirements and QualificationsRate: 40 an hour (PAYE Only)Core Qualifications: Current driving license, CSCS Card, and SSSTS or SMSTS qualification. Experience: Strong background in construction processes (such as Earthworks/Drainage, Pavement, Comms, Structures, or Roadworks) with a solid understanding of HandS legislation, commercial awareness, and proven team leadership skills.
