We are working with a well-established civil engineering and infrastructure contractor who are seeking an experienced Sub-Agent to strengthen their site team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a leadership role within a respected contractor, delivering large-scale groundworks and infrastructure projects across Scotland.
As a Sub-Agent, you will:
* Oversee sections of work, ensuring projects are delivered on time, safely, and to the required quality standards.
* Manage and coordinate site engineers, subcontractors, and workforce.
* Take responsibility for planning, setting out, and technical delivery.
* Prepare and review method statements, risk assessments, and quality documentation.
* Liaise with clients, designers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project progress.
* Monitor costs, productivity, and resource allocation within your section of works.
We''re looking for someone who has:
* A degree/HND in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
* Strong experience as a Section Engineer, Senior Engineer, or Sub-Agent in civil engineering or groundworks.
* Proven track record of managing teams and sections of work.
* Excellent setting out and technical knowledge.
* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
* A proactive approach to safety, quality, and efficiency.
