Sub Agent

We are seeking skilled Sub Agents to support the delivery of major civil and reinforced concrete works on the Net Zero Teesside project. The successful candidate will provide engineering control, maintain high quality standards, ensure safe working practices, and support productivity and commercial efficiency across their section of work.

Key Responsibilities
Engineering Control

Set out works accurately from primary control provided by others.
Prepare clear sketches and documentation showing installed setting-out information.
Maintain survey equipment in good working condition and ensure calibration requirements are met.

Quality
Produce accurate as-built drawings and associated records.
Complete Quality Check Sheets in accordance with project procedures.
Maintain detailed and accurate site records, including daily diary entries.
Health, Safety andamp; Environmental (HSE)
Prepare Field Control Sheets to support safe and coordinated delivery of work activities.
Deliver briefings associated with HSE requirements and work activities.
Carry out field inspections to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Identify hazards and contribute to risk mitigation on site.

Productivity
Measure actual material usage and compare against theoretical quantities to identify variances.
Work to the weekly programme (prepared by others) and record progress achieved each week.

Commercial
Produce weekly measures to support cost tracking and commercial reporting.
Carry out accurate take-offs and prepare schedules for material requirements.
Understand what constitutes additional work and communicate variations when identified.

Ideal Candidate
Experience as a Site Engineer on civil engineering or reinforced concrete projects.
Strong understanding of setting out, survey control, and construction methodology.
Knowledge of quality assurance processes and record-keeping.
Good understanding of HSE procedures and ability to conduct inspections and briefings.
Numerate, organised, and able to support commercial reporting.
Strong communication skills and a proactive, detail-focused approach.
