Sub Agent

Carmichael UK are recruiting for an experienced Sub Agent to join a major infrastructure programme at Birmingham Airport, supporting the delivery of key civil engineering works within a live operational environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Sub Agent with a strong background in civil engineering and reinforced concrete construction to join an established delivery team on a high-profile project. Whilst previous airfield experience would be advantageous, candidates from highways, rail, aviation, infrastructure and general civil engineering backgrounds are encouraged to apply. The Role As Sub Agent, you will be responsible for managing the safe and successful delivery of light civils and concrete works packages, ensuring programme, quality and safety objectives are achieved. You will lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors and oversee engineering assurance processes while working closely with project management, client representatives and delivery stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day delivery of works to ensure safety, quality, programme and commercial objectives are achieved. Lead site teams and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and specialist contractors. Review and manage Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), quality documentation and engineering records.
