Carmichael UK is seeking an experienced Sub Agent to join a leading Tier 1 contractor delivering a significant highways infrastructure scheme in Gloucestershire. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated civil engineering professional looking to take ownership of key work packages on a major project while supporting the successful delivery of critical infrastructure works. The Role As Sub Agent, you will play a key role in managing construction activities, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for coordinating site operations, managing engineering teams, and maintaining programme and commercial objectives. Key Responsibilities Managing day-to-day delivery of highways and civil engineering works Supporting the planning and coordination of construction activities Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards Leading site teams, subcontractors, and engineering resources Monitoring progress against programme and identifying solutions to overcome challenges Reviewing RAMS, ITPs, permits, and temporary works requirements Maintaining accurate site records and reporting project performance Working closely with Project Managers, Engineers, commercial teams, and stakeholders Driving productivity while ensuring works are delivered right first time Requirements Proven experience working as a Sub Agent on highways, infrastructure, or major civil engineering projects Strong ..... full job details .....
