Randstad Student Support is looking for skilled SpLD Tutors to provide high-level academic guidance to students at Bangor University.This is a hybrid role designed to meet students preferences, you will provide a mix of in-person and online sessions, focusing on empowering students to overcome academic barriers and develop into confident, independent learners.As a Specialist-one-to-one Study Skills Support Worker, you are required to support students to:Develop independence.Build on strengths and learning strategies.Create strategies around organisation and time management.Create action plans to stay on track with studies.Build on research skills - widening knowledge by using a variety of sources.Distinguish appropriate sources and how to correctly use referencesBuild on comprehension skills within reading and writing.Whilst working for Randstad the needs of individual students should be taken into consideration case by case and you should ensure that any concerns are addressed in a timely manner.
