Student Support Officer

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for full time student support officer to work at an excellent school in Hull, starting ASAP (school training day), and lasting until at least Christmas 2026, with the potential for this to extend longer in the future. This is a temporary role, based on a sickness, and thus may be longer in the future. This full time role involves the working hours of 8:30 - 3:30, and due to the nature of the role, part time options would not be considered in the first instance. Payment for this position will be between 100 and 210 per day, depending on experience in similar roles in the past.We are looking for a practitioner who can build strong relationships with students in this pastoral facing role. The aim of the role being to ensure that students are successful inside and out of school. You will be responsible for providing care to students during school, and feed in directly to the assistant head of years/head of years to ensure that student care provision is being carried out. This role will include working closely with students and parents/carers alike. You will also be responsible for student supervision at break and lunch times. This role involves a large around of moving around the school, moving from place to place around the school.This is a large school with an excellent reputation in the local area.
