      <description>Location: Hackney Central | Salary: &amp;pound;30000/annum | Type: Temporary | SSC - Hackney - Secondary School  We are seeking an enthusiastic, caring and committed  Student Support Teaching Assistant  to join our inclusive and supportive secondary school in Hackney.  This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with young people with  Special Educational Needs (SEN/SEND)  and wants to play an important role in helping students achieve their potential, both academically and personally.  Working closely with teachers, the SENCO and pastoral staff, you will provide targeted support to students who may have a range of additional needs, helping them to access learning, develop their confidence and become increasingly independent.   The role   As a Student Support Teaching Assistant, you will:    Provide one-to-one and small-group support for students with SEN/SEND.   Support students to access the secondary school curriculum and participate fully in lessons.   Work alongside teachers to adapt and differentiate learning activities where appropriate.
