Student Retention Officer

Your new role

• Act as first point of contact for academic staff who are concerned about student engagement or attendance.
• Triage students'' needs and direct them to the appropriate support or intervention.
• Follow-up with students to ensure that they have re-engaged with their studies.
• Maintain accurate records of student interactions and outcomes in the required system.

What you''ll need to succeed

• Excellent administrative skills
• Able to build empathy and rapport quickly with a wide range of people
• Excellent IT skills across the Microsoft Office suite
• Methodical with excellent attention to detail
• Comfortable working with people at all levels
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

What you''ll get in return

• -15.99 per hour
• Hybrid working: 37 hours per week
• Temporary role until December 2026
• Staff parking
