Student Experience Manager

Overview

The School of Environment and Society is seeking an exceptional individual to take up the role of Student Experience Manager. The postholder is responsible for the student experience of all taught students across all departments within the school. You will analyse data and create strategic interventions to improve the student experience and manage the school''s extenuating circumstances process. The team is supported by four student experience officers who collectively work to support both undergraduate and postgraduate students. As the Student Experience Manager you will lead the student experience team in all areas of the student experience. You will work with the Student Experience leads and the Senior Academic Tutor to ensure that the processes are managed appropriately. You will work across the three academic departments of History, Geography and Politics and International Relations, supporting internal and external communications.

Responsibilities

Lead the student experience team across all areas of the student experience for taught students.

Analyse data and develop strategic interventions to improve the student experience.

Manage the school''s extenuating circumstances process.

Collaborate with the Student Experience leads and the Senior Academic Tutor to ensure processes are managed appropriately.

Support internal and external communications across History, Geography and Politics and International Relations.

Supervise and collaborate with four Student Experience Officers to support undergraduates and postgraduates.

The School has been newly formed and has circa 150 academic staff.
