Department: Academic Operations Location: Manchester (Onsite Working) Type of Contract: Permanent - Full Time Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 Our Vision: Changing Lives through Education The Role: The Student Engagement Officer helps deliver GBS''s student participation in a range of educational, professional and extra-curricular activities across GBS. They provide day to day management of the Student Representative system for all GBS collaborative programmes. They arrange, attend and minute all Student Representative meetings and provide logistics for Partnership Student Focus groups across all programmes. The role also requires some occasional flexibility for work outside of normal hours which can include late evenings and weekend work, to meet service needs. This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship! What the Role Involves: To work at the direction of the Student Engagement Manager and Dean of Students to assist with student events such as Partnership Focus Groups, Student Voice Roadshows, Celebrating Your Success Events, Wellbeing Events and other activities allied with the Student Activities calendar. To work with Student Success Tutors (SSTs) in the election of Student Representatives. To deliver Student Representative training for all partnerships. To act as secretary, as required, to the Student Representative Committees. To support academic student consultation activities.
