Student Engagement Officer

Do you enjoy helping young people achieve their potential? Are you passionate about building relationships with schools, employers and local communities?

We''re looking for a proactive Student Engagement Officer to recruit and support learners, helping them progress into further education, apprenticeships and employment.

This is a varied role where you''ll work closely with learners, referral partners and employers to create opportunities, secure work placements and provide ongoing support throughout the learner journey.

What You''ll Be Doing

• Recruit learners onto vocational programmes and manage enrolments.
• Build relationships with schools, Local Authorities, NEET teams and referral partners.
• Support learners through regular reviews, guidance and progression planning.
• Develop employer partnerships and source meaningful work placements.
• Monitor learner engagement, attendance and outcomes.
• Work with teaching staff, parents and external agencies to provide effective learner support.
• Maintain accurate learner records and reporting.

What We''re Looking For

• Experience in education, employability, youth work, careers advice or vocational training.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A passion for motivating and supporting young people.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload.
• Confident using Microsoft Office and learner management systems.
• Level 2 English and Maths.
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
