About the Role
Pertemps Leeds is seeking a Student Check-in Runner to support arrivals at various student accommodation sites across Leeds during September 2026. This temporary, part-time position pays £13.58 per hour and operates on specified dates (12th, 13th, 19th & 20th), typically between 10:00am and 18:00pm, with flexibility required. You will welcome new students and their families, helping them navigate buildings, transport luggage, and answer general queries to ensure a seamless check-in process. The Role
Every September, thousands of students arrive in Leeds to begin university life. As a Check-In Runner, you'll play an important role in creating a fantastic first impression by helping students and their families move into their new accommodation.
Working alongside the Unite Students team, you'll assist with arrivals, direct students around the building, help transport luggage, answer general questions and ensure the check-in process runs smoothly. This is an active, customer-facing role that is ideal for friendly, energetic individuals who enjoy helping others.
Previous experience in this role is not necessary, as long as you have a friendly, approachable-attitude, with customer facing experience – you’ll do great in this role!
