Structures Standards Manager

Your new company A major infrastructure organisation is seeking a Structures Standards Manager to support the ongoing development, review and implementation of technical standards across its rail and infrastructure assets. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in standards management, asset management, maintenance, structures or civil engineering to contribute to the safe and reliable operation of critical infrastructure.Your new role As Structures Standards Manager, you will be responsible for reviewing, developing and updating technical standards relating to structures and civil engineering assets. You will work closely with asset management teams, engineering specialists and external stakeholders to ensure standards remain compliant with industry requirements and aligned with operational needs.Key responsibilities will include:Reviewing and refreshing existing structures standards and identifying opportunities for improvement.Leading the development and implementation of new and revised technical standards.Managing standards-related issues, gaps, clashes and derogations through to resolution.Supporting compliance, assurance and audit activities.Producing technical documentation, briefing notes and awareness materials.Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to maintain an effective standards framework.Supporting the continuous improvement of standards management processes and engineering ..... full job details .....
