The engineer will attend the client''s exchange and other designated programme locations to install, route, terminate, test and document copper and fibre cabling infrastructure. The role will involve working alongside Field Engineers, programme personnel and other delivery partners. Key responsibilities Attend the client''s exchange and programme sites across South and Mid Wales. Install structured cabling infrastructure within operational exchange or technical environments. Run and route Cat 6 copper cabling using existing cable trays and containment systems. Install pre-terminated fibre-optic cabling between designated equipment and distribution points. Terminate Cat 6 cabling into keystone modules, patch panels and associated hardware. Dress, secure and label cabling in accordance with the client''s programme standards.
