This is an excellent opportunity for experienced MIG / MAG Welders looking for secure, long-term work within a busy heavy structural steel environment.Day ShiftBasic - 16.85 per hourBack ShiftBasic - 20.22 per hour Includes 20% shift upliftShift PatternsDay Shift Monday - Friday: 6:00am - 2:30pm 40-hour standard working week with overtime available.Back Shift Monday - Thursday: 2:30pm - 11:00pmFriday: 2:30pm - 8:30pm 40-hour standard working week with a 20% shift uplift plus overtime opportunities.The WorkYou''ll be welding heavy structural steel plate and sections up to 100mm thick within a busy production environment. Your work will include:Structural steel welding of heavy plate and sectionsMAG 135 manual weldingSingle and multi-run fillet weldsButt weldsPredominantly down-hand weldingWorking accurately to engineering specificationsVisual inspection of completed weldsSafe use of grinders and associated equipmentWorking around overhead cranes and heavy steel componentsWhat We''re Looking ForStructural steel welding experience is essential.
