Structural Technician 40,000 - 45,000SomersetSteel FabricationFull Time, Permanent Are you an experienced Structural Technician with a strong background in structural steel or architectural metalwork?Would you enjoy working for a family-run steel fabrication business, delivering a varied range of projects across the Southwest?This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company that has been established for over 70 years, where you will get the chance to work on structural steelwork projects across the retail, agricultural, industrial and education sectors.This role would suit a streuctural technician with a strong understanding of structural design principles and experience producing structural models and technical drawings using either Revit or Tekla Structures. Candidates with experience in structural steelwork, cladding systems or wider building structures will be particularly well suited to the position. The successful applicant will work closely with engineers, project managers and manufacturing teams to ensure the accurate delivery of projects from design through to construction.Key Responsibilities:Produce accurate 3D models and technical drawings using Revit and/or Tekla StructuresGenerate GA drawings, fabrication details and construction information where requiredInterpret structural design information and translate it into detailed technical modelsCoordinate with engineers, project managers and production teams throughout project deliverySupport the development and ..... full job details .....
