Structural Steel Manager Location: Durham Salary: Competitive, depending on experience Employment: Permanent Projects: Nationwide / Site-Based We are looking for an experienced Structural Steel Manager to join an established business delivering structural steel projects across the UK. This is a hands-on management role requiring someone who has previously taken full responsibility for running structural steel projects on site. The Role Manage structural steel projects from mobilisation through to completion. Take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the site. Coordinate site activities, labour, subcontractors and deliveries. Manage programme, progress and site productivity. Ensure all works are delivered safely and to the required quality standards. Coordinate with clients, contractors, engineers and other site teams. Monitor project progress and resolve issues on site. Ensure RAMS, permits and health and safety requirements are followed. Manage site documentation, reports and progress updates. Work on projects across the UK, with nationwide travel required. Predominantly site-based role. About You Proven experience as a Structural Steel Manager. Must have experience running complete structural steel sites/projects independently. Strong structural steel background is essential. Must have progressed beyond trainee or assistant-level positions. Previous experience as a Site Manager/Project Manager specifically within structural steel will be considered.
