Structural Steel Design Engineer

Structural Steel Design Engineer London Permanent or Contract 5 days on site We are working with an established construction contractor looking to appoint an experienced Structural Steel Design Engineer to work across a number of live projects in London. This is a hands-on design role focused on the structural design of steel frames and associated structural steelwork. You ll work closely with project, engineering and site teams, developing practical design solutions that consider both technical requirements and buildability. The role will include: Structural design of steel frames and associated steelwork Producing structural calculations and design information Structural analysis and assessment Reviewing drawings, specifications and technical information Working across multiple projects at different stages of delivery Coordinating with project teams, engineers and other design disciplines Resolving technical and design issues during project delivery Ensuring designs comply with relevant UK standards Considering construction methodology and buildability throughout the design process We re looking for someone with proven structural steel design experience and a strong understanding of steel-framed construction. You ll need to be comfortable managing multiple projects and working closely with construction teams on site. The client is open to both permanent and contract candidates.
