We''re working with a forward-thinking civil and structural engineering consultancy that''s looking to add a Junior Structural Technician to their growing Bristol-based team.Whether you''ve just finished your studies or have up to 2 years of experience, this is a brilliant opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a range of exciting structural and civil engineering projects.What you''ll be doing:Supporting senior technicians and engineers on a variety of projects across multiple sectorsProducing 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software like AutoCAD and RevitAssisting with documentation across all RIBA stagesHelping maintain accurate project records, drawings, and QA logsEngaging with other technicians, engineers, and contractors to ensure effective collaborationStaying on top of industry standards, software tools, and safety practicesWhat we''re looking for:A good standard of education (college diploma or equivalent in a relevant subject)Some experience or understanding of CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit)Excellent organisation skills and the ability to juggle prioritiesA team player with a can-do attitude and keen attention to detailConfident communicator, both written and verbalProficiency with basic computer tools (Word, Excel)A clean driving licence and access to your own transportThe offer:Salary: Negotiable depending on experienceHours: 37.5 hours/week, Monday to FridayHolidays: 25 days annual leave + bank holidays (increasing with service)Training: Ongoing on-the-job training and developmentLocation: Bristol office, with support across UK projectsThis is a fantastic stepping-stone for someone looking to build a long-term career in structural engineering.
